PCS IT SERVICES

We offer managed IT services, help desk support, network management, cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery, cloud solutions, compliance support (HIPAA, PCI) and more.

While most of our clients prefer ongoing managed services, we also offer project-based work and consulting as needed.

We have experience helping healthcare and other regulated industries stay compliant and secure.

Yes. We provide advanced cybersecurity solutions including threat detection, employee training, firewall management and data protection.

Our proactive maintenance approach means we monitor your systems, identify issues before they become problems and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Our onboarding process starts with listening. We meet with your team to understand your workflows, challenges and goals. Then we audit your current IT environment (networks, devices, software and security) to develop a customized plan tailored to your needs.

We perform a full system audit, checking everything from hardware and software to network configuration and cybersecurity. We’ll identify risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

We talk with business owners, internal IT staff (if applicable) and end users. Understanding how your team uses technology daily helps us create better solutions and more responsive support.

It depends on your size and complexity, but we prioritize smooth transitions. Most small to mid-sized businesses can be fully onboard in a few weeks with little to no disruption.

We don’t believe in fixing what isn’t broken. We will evaluate what’s working well, where improvements are needed and provide honest recommendations. In most cases we can enhance your current systems rather than replace them entirely.

We coordinate closely with you (and your current provider, if applicable) to ensure data access, system continuity and documentation are handled securely and professionally. No finger-pointing, just forward momentum.

We specialize in supporting small to mid-sized businesses—typically those with up to 100 employees—but we don’t have a strict minimum. Whether you’re a growing startup or a 10-person team, we’re here to help make IT work for you.

PCS offers flexible service agreements tailored to your business needs. We believe in earning your trust every month.

We start with a consultation, provide clear pricing and a customized plan, then handle the transition with minimal downtime.

Yes. We often complement in-house teams by handling routine maintenance, compliance or cybersecurity while your team focuses on core tasks.

Questions to Ask Before You Hire an IT Company

Look for staff experience, reasonable response times, clear communication, transparent pricing and a proactive, rather than reactive approach. Always ask for references and real examples of success with a business like yours.

Beware of companies that won’t give you access to your accounts, aren’t clear about pricing, don’t provide documentation or avoid clear explanations. Also watch out for poor communication, slow response times or high-pressure sales tactics.

Yes. You should always retain full ownership and access to your systems, accounts and data. Any company that withholds access creates unnecessary risk. This applies to access to your website as well.

It can be. While some freelancers are very skilled, they may not have the capacity to provide consistent support or handle emergencies. If they go on vacation or are unavailable, your business could be left stranded.

Before you hire an IT company, ask how the company protects your data, what compliance standards they follow (such as HIPAA or PCI), and what their policy is for addressing issues that arise from regular audits or security reviews. They should offer clear policies and proactive recommendations, not just react to IT issues after they become problems.

If the majority of their support comes after things break, instead of preventing issues before they happen, they may be too reactive. A strong IT partner provides monitoring, routine maintenance and strategic advice not just damage control, to prevent issues before they happen.

Make sure they have a clear offboarding process that ensures you retain all your data, documentation and access to credentials. You don’t want to be held hostage by a vendor when it’s time to move on. You have the right to receive all your documentation and credentials in writing in a timely manner.

You should have regular communication, status updates and strategic reviews. A partner that only contacts you when something is broken isn’t helping you grow or plan for your company’s future.

Ask for itemized pricing, with what’s included in support packages, response time guarantees and any additional costs. The cheapest option isn’t always the best for your business. Look for value, not just price when you hiring an IT company.
